Why Seeing the World Matters
Long before I became a travel advisor, I was fascinated by history, museums, and discovering how people live around the world.
One of my earliest travel memories is visiting Washington, D.C. when I was seven years old. Walking through museums, visiting Mount Vernon, and even riding the subway sparked a curiosity that has stayed with me ever since.
Years later, that same love of history came full circle when my husband and I took our daughter to London and Paris during her senior year of high school. Watching her stand inside the Musée d'Orsay and see paintings she had studied for years was unforgettable. Seeing history become real through her eyes reminded me why travel is so powerful.
Those are the moments I hope every traveler gets to experience.
