Why I Believe Travel Matters
I've always loved traveling and sharing those experiences with family and friends, but over time I realized something even more meaningful.
The memories we create while traveling stay with us long after the trip ends.
One experience that especially shaped me was traveling to Honduras to help build a school. It wasn't just about seeing a new destination, it was about connecting with people, serving others, and realizing how powerful travel can be when it changes both the traveler and the community they visit.
That experience continues to influence the way I help clients plan meaningful vacations today.

the Best Part
One of my favorite travel stories begins with a problem.
When my flight arrived late in Juneau, every hotel room in town had already been booked. Instead of panicking, we ended up staying in a small local hostel.
It turned out to be one of the highlights of the entire trip.
The owner welcomed us like family, the experience felt warm and authentic, and we loved it so much we canceled our hotel reservation and stayed there for the rest of the week.
That experience reminded me that travel doesn't have to be perfect to be unforgettable. Sometimes the unexpected moments become the stories we cherish the most.
